Timos is born in Athens, Greece EU, in 1970. With his father already a motion pictures Gaffer, he started visiting different sets early in his life and grew up with the cinematographer’s culture. In 1986, he started working on international film productions as a camera and Steadicam assistant while studying simultaneously cinematography at the Stavrakos Film School of Athens.
In 1993 he was called as a Steadicam operator in a TV series and since then inaugurated a series of works in films, documentaries, commercials television, music clips, concerts and other live events. He has filmed motion pictures in Germany, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Scopia, Egypt, Turkey, Jordan, Israel, including both national and international productions: COMMERCIALS for Opel, Citroen, Honda, Hyundai, Toyota, Mobil, BP, Vodafone, Cosmote, Cosmofone, MacDonald’s, Pizza Hut, Goodies, Heineken, Lucosade, Nestle, Jacobs, Swarchkoff, Hewlett Packard, Vivodi, Eurobank, Interamerican, ING, BSB, LUX among many others. 29 FILMS for the Greek film industry. A series of DOCUMENTARIES in archeological sites for National Geographic and other American, English, Spanish, Korean and Greek productions for international release. TV SERIALS for national release. MUSIC CLIPS and CONCERTS for international famous Greek artists such as G.Dalaras, A.Vissi, D.Savopoulos, S.Rouvas, T.Voskopoulos, A.Ioannidis and others.
Timos lives in Athens, owns and operates the latest Steadicam model, the Ultra Cine. He works with the renowned Directors of Photography of the Greek film industry in national and international productions.
